INS LifeGuard is thrilled to announce an exciting new feature coming in the next release of the Manager's Portal.
We’ve added a dashboard to the top of the home screen for Village Managers. This lets you see important information at a glance. You can filter it to the desired date range, and choose whether to see only specific types of alarms or devices. If you don’t choose a type, all alarms and devices will be included in the stats. Whilst you can always view reports for more details, the dashboard gives a quick visual status report.

For those who are not yet acquainted with the Manager's Portal, it is a cutting-edge, secure intranet platform that allows village and community care managers to update and manage the information maintained by INS LifeGuard.
The Portal also enables managers to do a multitude of other tasks such as broadcast information to residents/clients, generate reports, and provide and manage Concierge Services, provide TeleHealth services, and so much more.
While the Portal came packed with heaps of features during its initial launch, the latest dashboard release comes with enhanced features and functionality, putting even more power in the hands of villages, care providers, and clients.
The overwhelmingly positive feedback we have received thus far fills us with great joy and satisfaction. Seeing how the Manager's Portal empowers villages and care providers to deliver an elevated standard of care to their clients is truly rewarding, and we are truly proud to be a part of this positive change.
We are dedicated to continually improving the portal to meet villages evolving needs. Our web portals and mobile apps are integral to our service, distinguishing us from other providers. They empower the village, family, and care team involved in supporting those we care for.
The following are features that came with our earlier Manager’s Portal versions:
Stay informed with low usage alarms that haven't been activated or tested in 30 days or more, as well as a comprehensive list of alarm activations including resident/client name, alarm type, and triggering device. You can customise the date range for the reports.
Easily update resident/client information directly within the portal with their consent. Alternatively, print out pre-formatted Client Information Forms for clients to complete and send to INS themselves.
Keep your staff contact details up to date and specify how you prefer to be notified of events (subject to client consent).
Automate resident requests by having the system email them to your designated staff. They can then arrange requested services such as plumbing, health, meals, and more. You can even set the fee for each service type directly in the portal.
Utilise INS LifeGuard's live answering service with your organisation's branding. For a nominal fee, we will handle resident/client service requests and coordinate the necessary services.
Set up tasks and reminders for individual residents/clients, specific groups, or all of them. Ensure important activities like medication schedules, appointments and more are properly managed.
Send important messages, company information, newsletters, podcasts, video links, and other useful information directly to residents/clients. Target specific groups or broadcast to all for seamless communication.
Initiate real-time evacuation alerts, both for practice drills and emergency situations, complete with warning sirens and recorded announcements. Ensure the safety and preparedness of your residents/clients.
Utilise existing LifeGuard SmartHome IPDs or the INS LifeGuardian® app to provide telehealth services. Your own clinical staff can deliver the services, enhancing convenience and healthcare accessibility for residents/clients. (For more information, refer to our TeleHealth page.)
In future releases, you will be able to create Super User Accounts with a global view across multiple sites. This soon-to-come feature lets you easily distribute communications, concierge services, and more across one, several, or all sites for streamlined management.
Currently, all features of the Manager's Portal are provided as part of our monitoring service at no extra charge. In the future, some features may incur an additional fee.

INS CareCall supplies and monitors emergency response equipment and services, including hardware manufactured by Chiptech, Smart-Caller, SmartLink, and the LifeGuard L-Series Diallers.
Monitoring of alarms is provided through INS LifeGuard's unique Emergency Response Centre, which is the only personal alarm response centre staffed by qualified nurses. This is an important distinction.
